That’s up to Google to decide. But as I really like this I hacked up a solution, just replace /usr/share/applications/google-chrome.desktop with this file:

It’s Google reader as a Chromium webapp.
You need to create a desktop file as usual, with:
Exec=chromium-browser –app=http://www.google.com/reader/view/
StartupWMClass=www.google.com__reader_view
When the translations will be available?

(i’m currently landing those manually, so that i can double check my script is working well, but i will soon auto-land the desktop file in the dailies. i also try to group the commits, as it’s easier to merge down to the other branches)
